Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in Dartmouth.
Born in
West Arichat, he was the son of George and Doris (MacNeil)
Dorey.
Marvin was formerly employed as a baker
at IGA.
Besides his parents, he is survived by
his daughter, Amanda (Cory) Forrest; grandchildren, Aralyn, Keigan,
Kayleigh and Miyah; mother of his daughter, Wendy Dorey; sisters,
Marlene, Carmella, Geraldine, Holly and Geneva; and brothers, George
Jr., Dale and Roddy.
There will be no
visitation. A memorial service will be held at Sydney
Memorial Chapel on Monday 11 a.m., with Rev. Alex MacLellan
officiating.
Memorials may be made to the
Canadian Cancer Society.
