Marvin Dorey
49, Dartmouth

Marvin Joseph Dorey, Primrose Street, Dartmouth, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2012, in Dartmouth.

Born in West Arichat, he was the son of George and Doris (MacNeil) Dorey.

Marvin was formerly employed as a baker at IGA.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Cory) Forrest; grandchildren, Aralyn, Keigan, Kayleigh and Miyah; mother of his daughter, Wendy Dorey; sisters, Marlene, Carmella, Geraldine, Holly and Geneva; and brothers, George Jr., Dale and Roddy.

There will be no visitation.  A memorial service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Monday 11 a.m., with Rev. Alex MacLellan officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
