We, the family of Elizabeth Josephine “Jo” White, regret to announce her passing on Friday, May 20, 2022, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney.

Born June 11, 1927, in Bridgewater, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn (Foley) Ramey.

Jo is survived by her brother, Ray Ramey; sister, Phyllis Williams; grandson, Paul Caldarone (Shelly); great-grandson, Teagan; and many nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edward “Ted”; daughter, Susan; son, Edward “Teddy”; brothers, Robert and Victor; sisters-in-law, Frances and Martha Ramey; and brother-in-law, Jimmy Williams.

A graveside service will be held at Alfred Smith Cemetery on Monday, July 4, 2022, at 2 pm with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Research or a charity of your choice.
